Issa Rae is a real life heroine, as first reported by the Hollywood Reporter, she is set to voice Jessica Drew aka Spider-Woman, in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

A long time spider man fan, Issa Rae via her Instagram story shared her excitement “The way that I have loved Spider-Man since the third grade. A dream come true,” reported Essence.

While plot details are being kept secret, we can expect the film to release October 7th,2022.

Essence reported that “Alongside Shameik Moore (Dope, Netflix’s The Get Down) and Hailee Steinfeld (Pitch Perfect 2, Bumblebee) returning as Miles Morales and Spider-Gwen,” Rae will be in one of the most anticipated Marvel films of next year.
