– Fitness Friday Exercise Program –

Now, for your exercise program for today and until next Friday…  It‘s all about your Love Handles. So here it is!


Ladies and Men, getting rid of those Love Handles is always the most difficult goal of any body part. And that is especially true this time of year during the Holiday season. Though it is true, lower abs is not that easy to work at any time of the year. But you can get a toned and sexy lower ab with the help of the right exercises. So, I need you to decide right now – that you want to lose belly fat and have a flat stomach.  Here’s how to make it happen!

Is one of the most effective workouts for toning your upper abdominal muscles.
Do 8-15 Repetitions. 

Reverse Crunches
Reverse crunches make some of the best lower abdominal exercises. They are easy to perform and give effective results. Do 8-15 Repetitions.

Alternate Toe-touch
A very simple exercise to tone the lower abdomen, however, if you suffer from back injury or back pain, then I recommend that you should not perform this exercise. Do 8-15 Repetitions.  

Side Planks
Side Planks are very beneficial because it not only helps in toning the muscles of the lower abdomen, but also helps in strengthening the spine. Hold for 20 sec, rest for 10 sec. 

Remember your goal is to become Fit and Fabulous. So, work with what you have and all happening right here.

I said it once and I’ll say it again. The Holidays are here and family, friends, parties and great food is unavoidable. Let me give you a couple of suggestion on how you can enjoy yourself without completely sabotaging your wellness program?



  1. Get Fish-Friendly: it rich with heart-healthy fats.
  2. Pass Up on the Ham: ham has 25% of your recommended amount of artery-clogging saturated fat in just one serving. 
  3. Dark Meat is OK: Dark meat has slightly more calories than white meat, but it also has more vitamins and minerals. 
  4. And as a kid in my house telling someone to Forgo The Fried was like saying don’t come to dinner. But, loading fried chicken on your plate my not be your best idea. One serving has close to 500 calories and half your daily intake of saturated fat.

Our mission is to assist at-risk youth to identify and pursue educational objectives that culminate in college or vocational training, and, more generally, to prepare them for productive involvement in their community and society. Beacon House’s goal is to lift as many children as possible up and out of their often difficult circumstances.
