Daley: “I Just Knew Jill Scott Would Be Perfect On ‘Until The Pain Is Gone'”

Daley is currently on tour with Leela James getting fans excited about his upcoming album The Spectrum, scheduled to be released this summer. His new single, “Until The Pain Is Gone” featuring Jill Scott, is in heavy rotation. The DMV loves Daley!

The singer/songwriter stopped by the WHUR studios to chat with midday personality Triscina Grey about his tour, the new album and how he always felt Jill Scott would be perfect on his new single ever since he wrote it two years ago.

Daley also shared how he took a leap to follow his dreams to become a singer after leaving his full-time gig as a graphic designer. His words of advice to those also contemplating taking a leap is to always have a plan b. He had a plan b.

Daley was excited to be in the District once again to perform. “I love DC.” He promises to return following his album release later this summer.
