Tamia Talks New Music And ‘Passion Like Fire’ Tour

Tamia‘s single “Leave It Smokin'” is burning up the charts and in heavy rotation here at WHUR, thanks to her loyal fans. The Grammy-nominated singer is so excited for us to hear more from her upcoming album Passion Like Fire, set to be released in the fall. This project marks the 20th anniversary of Tamia’s critically acclaimed, self-titled 1998 debut album.

“I’m really excited to debut new music, connect with my fans, and show my continued evolution as an artist. I’m still passionate about music and the process and I hope listeners can feel that with “Passion Like Fire,” states Tamia. “I’m so excited to have reunited with Salaam Remi on “Leave It Smokin’,” it feels like summertime, fun and a perfect way to introduce this album. I’m so grateful to the fans and radio stations for supporting it.”

The “Spend My Life with You” singer stopped by WHUR last week to talk with Triscina Grey about new music and the Passion Like Fire Tour. Expect to hear all Tamia on this new project, as she confirmed she has no collaborations this go round. Passion Like Fire will be available wherever music is sold beginning September 7.
