Acquittal In Phylicia Barnes Murder Trial

A Baltimore Judge has found Michael Johnson not-guilty in the third Phylicia Barnes murder trial.  Johnson was on trial for the murder of the 16-year-old honor student from North Carolina who vanished in 2010 while visiting family in Baltimore. Her body was found months later.

Stephon Clark Autopsy Results

A doctor who performed a second autopsy on the body of Stephon Clark in Sacramento says Clark was shot eight times. Dr. Bennet Omalu said six of those shots were in the back. Clark was unarmed when he was shot by police on March 18th while in his grandmother’s backyard.

Pulse Shooter Widow NOT GUILTY

The wife of the Pulse nightclub shooter is being found not guilty. A jury found Noor Salman not guilty of obstruction of justice and aiding and abetting her husband Omar Mateen in providing material support to ISIS this morning. She faced life in prison if convicted. Court reporters say there was audible “gasps” from the defense table as the verdict was read. Mateen killed 49 people in his bloody rampage June 12th, 2016.

Final Four Preview

The NCAA Men’s Basketball Final Four tips off Saturday at the Alamodome in San Antonio. Number-three Michigan taking on 11-seed Loyola-Chicago in the early game. The nightcap matches top seeds Villanova and Kansas. All four schools have won at least one NCAA championship.
