Seven People Hit By Car In Aspen Hill

(Aspen Hill, MD) — Police say seven people, including four high school students, are injured after being hit by a car in Aspen Hill this morning. The crash happened at Wendy Lane and Georgia Avenue around 7:00 a.m. Police say a white Volkswagen hit a car then hit four Kennedy High School students who were waiting for a bus. Five of the victims were taken to the hospital while the others were evaluated at the scene. Police say one of the students is seriously injured. The northbound lanes of Georgia Avenue were closed for hours.

Police Search For Man Who Sexually Assaulted Two People

(Prince William County, VA) — Police are searching for a suspect in connection with an abduction and two sexual assaults in Woodbridge. Police say the suspect abducted a young girl near Essex Drive and Radford Drive while she was walking to school this morning. He then entered a nearby home where he sexually assaulted an adult female. Police say he then ran away from the home with the child. Investigators believe he then assaulted the girl on Cumberland Drive and ran away from the scene. The girl was found a short time later by police. He’s described as a black man who is about 45-years-old. He was last seen wearing a black shirt and black shorts. Anyone with information is asked to call police.

(Washington, DC) — U.S.-UN Ambassador Nikki Haley is reportedly out. Various reports say President Trump has accepted Haley’s resignation. No reason has been given for the sudden and unexpected development. Haley is a former Republican governor of South Carolina. She has served as UN ambassador since the start of the Trump administration.

Washington Crushed By Saints On MNF

(New Orleans, LA) — The Redskins were no match for Drew Brees and the Saints, getting scorched 43-19 on Monday Night Football in New Orleans. Alex Smith threw an interception and lost a fumble, while the ground game netted just 39 yards. Washington slipped to 2-and-2 on the season. Brees is now the NFL’s career passing yards leader. He threw for 363 yards against the Redskins to surpass both Brett Favre [[ Farve ]] and Peyton Manning for the top spot.
