11 year old is clinging onto life after being shot by his babysitter…

An 11-year-old boy is fighting for his life this hour. He was shot in the upper body last night by his neighbor who was watching him. It happened as the 33-year-old former military member was moving his registered weapon. The incident happened on Bellamy Way in Suitland.

Atlanta’s could have it’s first white Mayor in 3 decades…

The race for Mayor of Atlanta is too close to call says, officials. Keisha Lance Bottoms who was backed by outgoing Mayor Kasim Reed is claiming victory.
Mary Norwood who is white plans to ask for a recount. Only 750 votes separate the two and absentee ballots have not been counted. If the outcome changes it would be Atlanta’s first white mayor since the 1970’s.

British researchers have found that a strict weight loss program along with exercise can reverse type two diabetes. The study used participants who’ve had the disease for
6 or more years. Each took part in a 6-month program and after it nearly half had their diabetes go into remission without the use of medication.
