A jury has been seated in the first Freddie Gray Case…

A jury has been selected in the first of 6 Baltimore Police Officers charged in the death of Freddie Gray. They are made up of 8 women and 4 men, 8 are black and 4 are white. William Porter is expected to take the stand in his defense. Porter’s testimony is expected to be key in the prosecution of the other officers charged. Opening statements could begin as early as this afternoon.

MedStar fires two Special Police involved in the death of a patient…

Washington MedStar Hospital has announced that they have now fired the two Special Police Officer who back in October tried to stop 74 year old James McBride from leaving the hospital in his gown. According to the “Washington Post” McBride’s neck was broken during that struggle. He later died from that injury.

Chicago Police Dept. is under new leadership…

The Chicago Police Department is now under new leadership, it comes a day after the Mayor Rahm Emanuel fired the Police Commissioner amid the fire storm that followed the release of dash cam video that resulted in a police officer being charged with murdering 17 year old LaQuan McDonald, a year after his murder.

The Wizards host Kobe Bryant tonight…

The Verizon Center will be packed for tonights game against the Los Angeles Lakers. Ticket prices jumped 138% after Kobe Bryant announced that he was retiring at the end of the season. This will be Bryant’s last NBA game locally.
