A Beloved 70’s TV Mom Dies…

Florence Henderson passes …

If you’re just waking up. The nation has lost a beloved
TV mom. Florence Henderson who played “Carol Brady”
on the sitcom Brady Bunch died yesterday of heart failure.
Henderson was 82 years old.

A White man in WV kills a black teen after he bumped him…

The FBI is looking into whether the fatal shooting of
a black teen by a white man was racially motivated. 62 year
old William Pulliam is charged with the murder of 15 year old
James Means after the teen bumped into him outside of a
Dollar General Store in West Virginia. The victim’s mother
believes justice will prevail. Police say Pulliam admitted to
the shooting and to going home afterward eating dinner
and then going to visit a female friend before he was arrested.

DC’s Mayor expected to sign off on some tough new anti-tobacco laws…

DC could soon have some of the toughest anti-tobacco laws in the country. DC Mayor Bowser is prepared to sign off on a measure raising the legal age from 18 to 21 and banning chewing tobacco at Nat’s Park and other sporting events.
