A DC public charter student recovers from being shot…

Idea Public Charter School in N.E. DC opened its doors early this morning. They are also now offering shuttle service from the Benning Road, Deanwood and Minnesota Avenue Metro Station for students traveling to school. The changes follow yesterday’s shooting of a teen outside of the school after classes let out. That suspect has not been apprehended.

Authorities in Prince William County say a 10 and 11-year-old girl have been charged with conspiracy to commit a felony. The girls are accused by police of threatening to kill an 11-year-old female classmate. A concerned parent notified school officials and police then found cryptic text messages that supported the girl’s claims.

Northern Virginia is dealing with a serial flasher…

Police in Northern Virginia have released an image of a person they believe has been flashing people and exposing himself. The suspect in questions has done so 9 times since January.
