A gas leak closes a busy section in the District…
A gas leak in the District has closed down a section of Foxhall Road. Emergency crews are on the scene and south bound lanes of Foxhall Road at Lowell Street are blocked for the needed repairs. Officials hope to reopen the road between Noon and 2 this afternoon.
Prince George’s Co. bus aide due in court today…
The Prince George’s County School bus aide charged with sexually abusing special needs elementary children on a school bus at James Ryder Randall School in Clinton is due in court today. 38-year-old Michael Patopie of Capitol Heights has a preliminary hearing. We have also learned that Patopie was once a special needs student within the county’s school system.

The search for suspects and answers surround shots fired at homes and cars this weekend in NW. continues this morning. On Sunday windows of homes were hit in the 800 Block of Crittenden Street and at 8th and Kennedy Streets. No one was hit but it was scary for residents like Sharon Cook who was hosting a birthday celebration at her home when gun fire rang out. I’s unclear if the cases are connected.
