A gunman kills two at Grambling State University…

Two people are dead following a shooting this morning at Grambling State University in Louisiana. One of the victims was a senior at the university. The incident was sparked by a door room altercation. The gunman remains on the run.

The NAACP has issued a warning to African Americans to be careful about traveling on American Airlines. According to leaders of the civil rights group, it follows some disturbing complaints by black passengers. A spokesperson for the airlines says they are disappointed by the travel advisory and they are welcoming leaders to their headquarters for a meeting to discuss the issues of concern.

In a surprise move, Tennessee Republican Senator Jeff Flake has announced he is not going to seek re-election after serving one term. In an emotional speech, yesterday on the Senate floor basically stated it was because of the actions and behavior of President Trump. Flake gave the scathing speech criticizing the party and the President without mentioning him by name. Flake said he has to leave because of the reckless, outrageous and undignified behavior that is being called “telling it like it is”.
