A veteran Fire Fighter dies putting out a blaze in Howard County…

A veteran Fire Fighter has died after being injured when he fell through a floor of a 7,000 square foot mansion this morning. He has not been identified. Three people who were inside of the home in Clarksville made it out safely. Officials are still looking into the cause of the 7 alarm blaze.

WSSC says the drinking water in Prince George’s County is safe to drink. It follows 1 million gallons of wastewater that overflowed from the Broad Creek Wasterwater Pumping Station. The heavy rains are to blame. Clean up efforts have begun.

Va. man charged with hit and run death of his own sister…

A Virginia man has been charged with the first degree murder and hit and run death of his own sister. Police say Michele Moreno was taking his sister Nancy to the airport when they got into an argument. She got out of his car and started walking and he hit and ran her over and left. She died at the hospital. He was later found at a casino. Another sister says she thinks they were discussing his gambling problem.
