Mayor Bowser says a new grading policy will go into effect in May.

Red Line Returns To Regular Service

Regular service is resuming on the Red Line. Metro shut down a segment of the line for a few hours yesterday when a train derailed outside the Farragut North station. Trains were forced to single track between Farragut North and Judiciary Square through this morning, causing crowded platforms and rail cars in downtown Washington. Crews worked overnight to repair the faulty rail and regular service resumed this morning.

Trump has denied making derogatory language about immigration from African nations, Haiti and El Salvador. The remarks were reportedly made last week during a White House meeting with lawmakers. The President also said Democratic Senator Dick Durbin “totally misrepresented” his remarks at the meeting.

Metro Atlanta could see anywhere from a dusting of snow to one inch. By tomorrow morning, it could feel like minus seven in Atlanta and a rare winter weather advisory is being issued for Panama City, Florida. Single-digit temperatures could hit Jackson, Mississippi.
