Beltway accident in Va kills one…

One person has died and one person remains in the hospital following the accident on the beltway at Van Dorn Street. Massive delays remain in that area as the roadway remains closed. Avoid the area if at all possible. The cause remains under investigation.

Multiple people shot in a parking lot in S.E., no arrests made…

It’s still unclear on the number of people shot last night in S.E. at an apartment complex. Early reports state between 5 to 7 people were injured. Their injuries are not said to be life-threatening. The shooting last night happened in the parking lot of the Southern Homes and Gardens Apartment on Southern Avenue. There’s no word on a suspect(s).

Md’s Gov. calls for a full and through investigation into claims of grade tampering within Prince George’s County Schools…

Maryland Governor Larry Hogan is now calling on the State Board of Education to fully investigate new claims that staff within the Prince George’s County Public School System have changed hundreds of grades to increase the county’s graduation rate. The announcement by the Governor overnight followed four school board members who contacted him and said they had proof of the allegations. Schools CEO Kevin Maxwell denies the claims.
