It’s the second blast of the day after a teen was killed when a parcel bomb went off inside his home. In a letter to Trump’s private attorney on Monday, the actress offered to pay back the full amount, in exchange for the ability to release any text messages, photos or videos she has of the President. Daniels offered to wire the money to a Trump bank account by Friday. Today, Clifford’s lawyer told NBC News, “This has never been about the money. It has always been about Ms. Clifford being able to tell the truth.”

Trump Defends Guns Proposal

President Trump is coming to the defense of his new proposal on gun violence that leaves age restrictions to buy guns up to the states. Trump took to Twitter this morning to say background checks would be strengthened and bump stocks will “soon be out.” Bump stocks are modifications that boost a gun’s firing capacity. Trump also said highly trained teachers should be allowed to carry guns to schools. The White House is backing off a plan to raise age limits on gun purchases. Trump tweeted that his team is “watching court cases and rulings” on age limits.
