Gunman Sought In Convenience Store Murder

Prince George’s County Police are looking for a suspect in connection with the murder of a 7-11 clerk.  31-year-old Taiwo Oduwole of Upper Marlboro was shot and killed during an apparent robbery attempt in the 9700 block of Brandywine Road.  The same suspect is also wanted for robbing a hotel in the 7900 block of Malcolm Road in Clintion.

Three-Alarm Fire At Bladensburg Warehouse

Prince George’s County firefighters are battling a three-alarm blaze at a Bladensburg warehouse. Heavy fire was reported this afternoon at the ABC Supply Company building on Kenilworth Avenue. Pallets, roofing materials and other combustibles went up in flames but no injuries were reported. A fire department spokesman says the fire did not reach the interior of the building.

Funeral Services For Son Of Marion Barry Today

Funeral services are being held today for Marion Christopher Barry, the son of the late DC Mayor Marion Barry. The 36-year-old Barry was found dead of a drug overdose back on August 14th. Barry’s funeral service will begin at 7:00 tonight at The Temple of Praise after he lies in repose from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
