Fatal hit and run driver sought in Prince George’s County…

Police in Prince George’s County are still looking for the drive involved in a deadly hit and run last night on Suitland Road. The male victim was struck so hard that he was knocked out of his shoes. He died at the hospital. He has not been identified. We have no word on the striking vehicle.

Metro bus drivers demand safety changes on X2 route…

This morning the union representing metro bus drivers held a news conference demanding that more be done to keep their driver’s safe while on the job. This mornings protest at the Minnesota Avenue Metro Bus stop and the new conference follows the arrest of a woman who threw urine on a driver. She was released because she was only charged with a simple assault.

Tropical Depression Harvey is still churning and moving…

Tropical Depression Harvey is moving over Tennessee this morning. We will feel a little of its impacts over the weekend. We have reports that the waters are starting to recede, but it will be months and years before Houston, Texas gets back to normal. Right now the entire city of Beaumont is without clean drinking water. President Trump could make another stop in the state over the weekend.
