First Hurricane death reported in U.S….

The first person to die in the U.S. because of Hurricane Matthew is a 58 year old woman out of St. Lucie County in Florida. The eye of Hurricane Matthew is edging closer to the southern coast of Florida. The category 3 storm is packing 120 mph winds. Florida Governor Rick Scott is once again issuing evacuation warnings for residents along the northeastern coast of the state.

Second Presidential debate set for Sunday…

It’s a storm of a different type on Sunday, the 2nd Presidential debate between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump will be held. Since the first debate Clinton’s polling numbers have been going up. Trump is reportedly under pressure to do better this time. The town hall style 90 minute debate will take place at Washington University in St. Louis.

A private nurse charged with assaulting a special needs adult student…

A private nurse hired to care for an adult special needs Prince George’s County student –has been arrested and charged with assaulting that student. It was captured on a school bus surveillance camera last month. The 45 year old nurse has been identified as Owade Elusanni of Lanham. The student was not seriously injured.
