Maryland Governor Larry Hogan has ordered that flags are flown at half-staff for Sgt. Eddison Hermond. He’s the 39 year old National Guard who died trying to help a woman trapped by the flood waters in downtown Ellicott City. His body was recovered yesterday not far from Baltimore.

Triple shooting in DC, a teen and two women in S.E….

DC Police are investigating a triple shooting in S.E.. A teen boy and two adult women were shot on Chesapeake Street last night. They are expected to survive. No arrests have been made.

Three students learn a counselor’s error will prevent them from graduating in May…

An error by a counselor is effecting three senior in Prince George’s County. Two students from Potomac High Schools and one from Oxon Hill have learned they will be able to walk in May with their classmates. The reason their counselor did not give them the correct course load, now they have to take summer classes. The schools say they will foot the bill.
