DC Police search for the killer of a mother on Memorial Day…

A mother is dead and DC Police are looking for her killer. They are specifically looking for the person seen driving a dirt bike in the area where 31 year old Tamar Gliss was shot on Monday. Gliss was hit in the head as she sat with friend at a cook out in the 1300 block of 6th Street in NW.

Autopsy on 3 year old in La Plata is inconclusive…

The autopsy on the 3 year old who was dead and being pushed on a swing at a park in La Plata for hours by his mother is back and it is inconclusive. The mother remains under a doctor’s care. The aunt of the little boy says that the father had just gone to court to gain custody of his son but to no avail. Investigators are now awaiting his toxicology report.

DC leaders look a several plans to bring in more revenue, including higher meter fines and extending the times to pay after 10p.m. …

Starting at 10 this morning the city council will begin discussing several proposals to increase revenue for the District. The plans include increasing meter fine’s, extending the time you have to feed a meter from 10 p.m. to Midnight and possibly increasing taxes and fee’s at parking garages.
