DC Mayor Muriel Bowser is set to hold a 11 a.m. press conference to discuss new legislation to crack down on drugs in the District. Sources close say the new legislation will focus on the drug suppliers instead of the low level drug users.

The head of the Spokane, Washington Chapter of the NAACP, Rachel Dolezal has canceled a meeting today, where she was suppose to address questions that she has been lying about being African American. Dolezal says she is still in talks with national and regional NAACP leaders about the matter.

The manhunt for two convicted murders David Sweat & Richard Matt in update New York is now in it’s 10th day. Later today the woman who is believed to be their accomplice who worked at the prison as a seamstress, Joyce Mitchell is due to appear before a judge.
