MLK III is in DC today for a Voting Rights Rally…

In commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of the signing of the National Voting Rights Act, The Southern Christian Leadership Conference and Martin Luther King III are joining together for a 9 a.m. “Call to Action” Rally. The rally will be held in from of the MLK memorial on the National Mall.

Maryland’s Governor plans to make a major announcement about the state’s redistricting process…

Maryland Governor Larry Hogan is set to hold a 1:30 press conference today to talk about redistricting reform. Sources close say Governor Hogan will announce the creation of a bipartisan commission to look into the state’s redistrict ion process, following Republican complaints over the years.

A man who works in the school system in Fairfax County has been arrested for trying to have sex with an 9 year old in DC…

A Fairfax County school employee has been arrested and charged with entering the District for the intent to have sex with a 9 year old girl. 29 year old Wesley Breeden was taken into custody after he answered an online ad and set up to me with a man he thought was the 9 year olds father. The man was actually an undercover agent.
