Prince George’s County Police need your help in finding a missing elderly woman. 75 year old Jane Yorkman was last seen in Suitland around 5. She may be in her Silver 2001 Toyota Highlander SUV with MD tag number M647646.

A Gov’t shutdown has been averted –for now anyway

Late last night the House approved the $1.1 trillion dollar controversial bill that blocks DC’s recently approved Marijuana Bill. Leaders from both sides of Congress then voted to give the Senate a 48 hour extension to review the massive spending bill that will fund most of the federal government until next September.

Suspect arrested for attempted kidnapping & sexual assault in Montgomery could be link to other recent attacks

The man arrested yesterday following a report of an attempted sexual assault and kidnapping last night near Wheaton Mall, could be linked to two recent sexual assaults at the Wheaton Metro Station Parking Garage. Police have not released the suspects name.

A vigil for justice planned for the 16th street corridor today

A Vigil for Justice by People of Faith is set for six tonight along the northbound side of 16th Street from the White House to Silver Spring. Participants are reminded to stay out of the street.

Thousands expected for National Civil Rights March in DC

Thousands from all across America are expected to convene in the nations capitol for the Rev. Al Sharpton’s National March Against Police Violence. It’s in response to grand jury decisions in Ferguson, Missouri and New York City. The march starts at Noon at Freedom Plaza. City officials say they will close road in and around Freedom Plaza starting at 6 tomorrow morning.
