Roanoke, Va survivor upgraded…

We have just received some breaking news out of Roanoke, Virginia. The sole survivor of yesterday’s deadly ambush and murder of two journalist on TV has been upgraded to good. Investigators are still combing through social media accounts and a 23 page letter sent to ABC from accused gunman Vester Flanagan for answers to why he did what he did.

DC Mayor plans to announce new police powers to fight crime…

DC Mayor Muriel Bowser wants to give police more power to fight crime in the city. At 10:30 this morning from the former Malcolm X Elementary School in S.E., Bowers will unveil her new proposal do that.

Civil Rights Activist who helped gain voting rights for A.A’s has passed…

The world has lost another civil rights icon. Amelia Boynton Robinson has died at the age of 104. She was one of the original organizers of the march from Selma to Montgomery & she was instrumental in getting voting rights for African American’s. Images of her beaten and left for dead following the event known as “Bloody Sunday” along the Edmunds Pettus Bridge was captures in newspapers and magazines all around the world.
