DC Police hold a community meeting on violence in the city…

Concern over the big jump in homicides and violent crime in the city has prompted police at the First District Police station to hold a community meeting on the issue tonight at 7. The one hour meeting will involve a questions and answer segment as they inform residents what’s being done by police to curb the violence.

Is there one or two sexual predators targeting women leaving DC metro stations on the loose…

DC Police believe their could be as many as two sexual predators on the loose in the city, targeting women leaving area metro stations. Since July 28th there have been two attacks. The most recent was on August 28th near Michigan Avenue in N.E.. The suspects descriptions are similar but its unclear if the crimes are connected.

City Officials in Baltimore brace for a tense day at the start of the Freddie Gray death hearing…

All eye’s will be on the city of Baltimore tomorrow. Officials are hoping for the best but preparing for the worst as the first hearing into the death of Freddie Gray is set to begin on Wednesday. The 6 Officers charged in his death are not due in court. There will be an increased police presence throughout the city and around the court house.
