Two kids arrested for planning a school shooting in Va…

Two males, a 15 and 17 year old have been arrested for plotting a school shooting spree are due in court today. The males attended Riverbend High School in Spotsylvania County, Virginia were arrested over the weekend for planning a columbine style shooting. Both are due in court later today.

Two Metro workers are being called hero’s for stopping a passenger armed with a gun from hurting others…

Two Metro workers are being called hero’s and a 20 year old accused gunman is behind bars. On Saturday on the green line, two workers noticed a man, now identified as Rondez Tibbs, reaching into his jacket during an argument with some passengers on the train. One Metro worker managed to get the gun from him and pin him to the floor & the other called for police. Tibbs is also wanted for the armed robbery of a person at the Anacostia Metro Station earlier in the day.

A shooting a NCCU leaves one student injured…

In Durham, North Carolina. One student at NCCU is recovering after being shot last night. The school was placed on lockdown during the active shooter search. Classes resume this morning. The gunman remains on the loose.
