DC records 130th homicide…

The District’s 130th homicide is a man police discovered shot this am at 15th and “V” Streets in S.E.. The adult male later died of his injures at the hospital. There’s no word on the shooter.

VA police arrest a teen for threatening to kill others…

Police in Stafford, Virginia are thankful –the “See Something Say Something” message is working. A 15 year old student from Brooke High School was taking into custody for threatening to bomb and kill fellow classmates.

The Justice Department set to release 6k drug offenders…

The Justice Department is set to release over 6,000 non violent drug offenders today. It’s the largest one -time release of federal prisoners in U.S. history. The early release is the result of new sentencing guidelines.
