It’s the Houses’ turn to approve a bill to avert a Gov’t shutdown…

The Senate has done it and now its up to the house. Yesterday lawmakers approved a interim spending bill that not only funds the Federal Government until mid December but Planned Parenthood as well.

DC’s Mayor introduces a pilot program to help with the shortage of ambulances…

DC Mayor Muriel Bowser has come up with an idea to immediately deal with the city’s ambulance shortage. This morning she will pitch a pilot program to bring in 20 private ambulance companies to handle low priority calls.

Over 3k schools kids in Prince George’s County could be barred from school tomorrow…

In Maryland, over 3,000 school kids face being kick out of school tomorrow if they can not prove that they have been vaccinated. The County Health Director Dr. Angela Wayhweya has been placed on temporary leave as a result of the findings.

ACLU holds public meeting on policing in DC…

The ACLU is holding a public town hall meeting tonight from 6:30 to 8:30 to hear what residents have to say about DC Police. Tonight’s meeting will be held at Metropolitan AME Church on “M” Street in NW.
