DC leaders approve a plan to bring more ambulances into the city…

The DC City Council has given the final Ok to a plan to hire private ambulance companies to service non emergency calls. We could start seeing them on the roads as early as 6 weeks. There’s still no word on just how much this one year pilot program will cost taxpayers.

Med Star patient suffered a broken neck in scuffle with security…

The Med Star Washington Hospital patient who scuffled with two security guards suffered a broken neck. 74 year old Jim McBride of N.E. died days later. The cause of death has not been determined. McBride leaves behind a wife and two children who are devastated.

Pepco Exelon merge close to reality thanks to DC’s Mayor…

DC Mayor Muriel Bowser is now backing the multi million dollar Pepco Exelon merger. If the 6.4 Billion dollar deal is approved by the DC Public Service Commission it would bring hundreds of jobs to the city and the company will invest $78 million into the District.

A gunman is on the loose in Charles County, a teen is shot & robbed of a bike…

Charles County Police are offering a $1k reward for information on who shot & robbed a 17 year old for his bike yesterday. The teen was hit in the leg & is expected to survive. It happened Tuesday on a bike path on Allwood and Bannister Circle in Waldorf.
