The investigation into a fatal house fire in Waldorf continues. A woman and small child died, four others escaped the home on Poplar Hill Road.

In Prince George’s County the search continues for the gunman who shot a man multiple times last night in Suitland. The victim was found in the 4800 block of Tanger Place.

Samuel Chase Elementary is closed, classes will be held at Crossland H.S….

Samuel Chase Elementary School in Temple Hills is closed today because of a fire at the school, students should report to school this morning at Crossland High School. There will be not morning or afternoon pre-kindergarten classes.

Baltimore Police Officer place on leave for spitting on A.A. suspect…

Cell phone video that appears to show a veteran Baltimore Police Officer spitting on a handcuffed African American suspect. The cell phone video has prompted an internal investigation of the incident. The officer who has been on the force for 34 years has been identified as Sergeant Robert Mesner.

Hillary Clinton is the big winner in last night’s first Democratic Presidential Debate. Experts say she appeared commanding, prepared and polished. Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders had a good night as well.
