Two people are seriously injured in accident with a U.S. Mail Truck in Silver Spring…

There’s been no update on the condition of a couple who were involved in an accident with a U.S. Postal truck this morning in Silver Spring. At last check their injures were said to be life threatening. The cause of the collision at Cherry Hill Road and Calvertson Boulevard remains unknown.

DC leaders release results of PARCC tests…

Test results from DC’s new math and Language Arts Assessment tests are in for 3rd through 8th grade. At 11:30 this morning DC Mayor Muriel Bowser, Schools Chancellor Kia Henderson and city leaders will gather for a press conference to release the results. The PARCC tests as they are called replaced the standardized DC CAS tests.

First Freddie Gray murder trial begins…

The tedious task of jury selection begins today in Baltimore for the first of 6 Police Officers charged in the death of Freddie Gray. William Porter faces up to 25 years in prison if he is found guilty of all the charges.

Burgundy and Gold are #1 in the division…

Washing is #1 in the NFC East –thanks to Sunday’s win over the Giants 20 to 14. Next Monday it’s rival Dallas.
