Classes start late at Catholic University following a 2nd “Shelter in Place” Alert…

Catholic University is opening 3 hours late this morning, this following a 2nd shelter in place that was later lifted. Officials say it was a false alarm and the person of concern was located. Classes will begin at 11 am expect for the Law School.

DC Chief of Police talks about the cities homicide cases, open and closed…

DC Mayor and Police Chief are due to hold a 10 am meeting on dozens of homicide cases solved in the city. Leaders also plan to ask for the public’s help in solving some of the remaining cases.

A new police center is coming to Prince George’s County…

At 11 this morning Prince George’s County Executive Rushern Baker will join others in a ceremonial ribbon cutting at the county’s new Police Station in Fort Washington. Chief of Police Mark Magaw says the new District VII Station will cut down on response time for area residents in need of help.

It’s the Defenses turn in the Freddie Gray trial…

In Baltimore, it’s the defense turn to present witnesses in the first Freddie Gray murder trial. Former Officer William Porter is expected to take the stand.
