William Porter jury resume deliberations today…

The Jury in the William Porter murder trial will resume deliberating his fate this morning. They discussed the case for about 3 hours before ending yesterday. Police and City Leaders are calling for calm but they are bracing for possible unrest depending on the outcome in the first of 6 cases against former Baltimore Police Officers. Rev. Keith Bailey says he is doing all he can to prevent any violence.

Police in Prince George’s County investigate two homicides overnight…

A reward of up to 25K is being offered by Police in connection with last nights fatal shooting of a man on 53rd Place in Hyattsville. The victims name has not been released. Homicide detectives are also looking into another adult male killed on Goodluck Road in Glendale. There’s no information on possible suspects in either case.

Death of Special Ed teacher held by two apartment security guards ruled a homicide…

The death of special education teacher Alonzo Smith has been ruled a homicide by the District of Columbia’s chief medical examiner. Smith is the 27 year old man who was detained by two apartment security guards in S.E. last month. Police plan to later release a statement about their investigation into his death.

Tonight’s the last GOP Presidential Debate…

Las Vegas will be the scene of tonight’s 5th and final Republican Presidential Debate for 2015. CNN is moderating the 8:30 event. Donald Trump enters the debate knowing that he’s leading in the polls nationally but that Ted Cruz is in a dead heat with him in Iowa, which will hold the first primary on February 1st.
