School closure in Prince George’s County…

We have a school closure this morning. A power outage at Cherokee Elementary School in Aldephi, Maryland has prompted officials to cancel classes today.

A massive fire destroys a home in Accokeek…

A massive house fire in Prince George’s County has totally engulfed a large home in Accokeek. Initial reports indicate that two people who were inside the home were able to get out unharmed. The cause remains under investigation.

President Obama sets his sights on new gun regulations…

President Obama is wasting no time addressing issues with the country’s gun laws. Later today the Commander and Chief will meet Attorney General Loretta Lynch in the Oval Office to discuss some sweeping new gun guidelines.

Police in Prince George’s County investigate the first two homicides of the year…

Prince George’s County Police are starting the new year off with two homicides. The most recent victim was found on Sunday. The adult male was found with upper body trauma next to a running car on Kilbourne Drive in Clinton. On New Year’s day 20 year old Catherine Alvardo was found on a popular jogging trail in Hyattsville.

Tickets for Sunday’s Washington Wildcard Game goes on sale at 10…

Washington is play off bound. Tickets are set to go on sale on Ticketmaster for Sunday’s Wildcard match up against the Packers at 10 this morning. Sunday’s game kicks off at 4:40 at Fedex Field.
