The President holds a live town hall on ending gun violence…

President Barack Obama held a live televised town hall meeting on his
executive orders to end gun violence last night. He spoke about
supporting the rights of citizens to bear arms while calling on Congress
to do more to end gun violence. A new poll shows 67% of Americans support the President’s Executive action to end gun violence.

A Baltimore judge pushes backs the trial dates for two officers in the Freddie Gray case…

New trail dates for two Baltimore Police Officers charged in the death of Freddie Gray will be confirmed today. The trial dates for Sgt. Alicia White and Garrett Miller will be pushed back. The trial for Officer Caesar Goodson, who faces the most serious charge of 2nd degree murder, will begin on Monday with jury selection.

Texas Trooper in the Sandra Bland case posts bail…

The Texas trooper who arrested Sandra Bland who later died in custody is now free on bond. Brain Encinia posted a 25-hundred bond and left under protective escort. Encinia was indict of perjury by a grand jury related to the July arrest.
