Homeowner shoots intruder in Temple Hills…

A husband and wife are safe and unharmed following a home invasion this morning in Temple Hills. The intruder who was shot by the homeowner can not say the same thing. He is listed in fair condition. The incident happened just before 2 this morning in the 29-hundred block of Brinkley Road.

MD General Assembly returns today…

At Noon today, the Maryland General Assembly will reconvene in Annapolis. Lawmakers will be greeted by a multi-million dollar tax cut plan by Governor Larry Hogan. Hogan plan’s to present his $17 billion dollar budget plan to state
lawmakers. The $480 Million Dollar tax cuts and fee reductions target small businesses, working families and retirees.

The President set the tone for his final year in office….

President Barack Obama delivered his 7th and final “State of the Union Address” last night. He stood strong saying the U.S. is still the most powerful country in the world. He touted the growing economy, while calling on Congress to work together on challenges facing our country. The President also spoke about the future, where college is affordable for all.

For a time, Taylor even spoke with a British accent. Well now she resides in the DC area and for the past three years has worked as the news anchor for The Steve Harvey Morning Show on WHUR. Recently, Taylor has adopted the Washington Redskins as her most loved pro sports team.
