Use caution heading out, icy conditions on the roads…

Motorist look out for black ice and children and pedestrians walking in the street because some sidewalks are still covered with snow. Students in the District start on time today. On a 2 hour delay are students who attend classes in Charles, Calvert and St. Mary’s Counties.

Free lunch is Prince George’s and Montgomery Counties…

Prince George’s & Montgomery County Public Schools are closed but school officials want students to know that they can get free lunches at 4 locations in P.G. County from 10 to 1 this afternoon. In Montgomery County there are 11 schools offering free lunches to kids between Noon and 1 or Noon and 2. The lunch is avail for any child in Montgomery County. No Id is required. The schools offering free lunches from Noon to 1 are: Sargent Shriver Elementary, Clopper Mill Elementary, Arcola Elementary, Harmony Hills Elementary, Washington Grove Elementary, Whetstone Elementary, New Hampshire Estates Elementary, Roscoe Nix Elementary and Capt. James Daly Elementary schools. One school is offering free lunches from Noon until 2pm and that is Gaithersburg Elementary.

Howard University and others open at 10…

At 10 this morning Howard University will open along with the University of Maryland at College Park and Prince George’s Community College.

Donald Trump sites out tonight’s GOP debate…

Tonight is the last GOP Presidential Debate before the important Iowa Caucus. Donald Trump is boycotting the debate because of an ongoing feud between the host network Fox News and Megan Kelly.
