Police subdue shooter at Reston Hospital Center…

Fairfax County Police say they have resolved the situation regarding a shooting at Reston Hospital Center this morning. A 53 year old man with a self inflicted gunshot wound fired at a hospital door to get help entering the hospital. He then fired his gun once inside. No one else was injured.

DC Mayor’s moves forward with plans to end homelessness in the city…

DC Mayor Muriel Bowser has released the locations of the short term shelters for homeless families. There will be one in each ward. The plan will reportedly cost $22 (m). The city plans to close DC General within two years.

It’s Ash Wednesday, get “Ashes to go”…

Today is Ash Wednesday and from 6 to 7 this morning at from Noon to 1pm you can get “Ashes to Go” from the Alfred Street Baptist Church in Va. Simple pull up to the front of the church on route 1 in Alexandria.

Trump and Sanders names the big winners in New Hampshire…

It’s on to S.C. for the candidates seeking the White House. Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders walked away with the big wins in the New Hampshire Primary for their parties. Trump had 35% of the vote and picked up 10 delegates and Sanders had 60% of the vote and collected 13 delegates. Sanders plan to take a detour today and head to N.Y. to meet with Al Sharpton before heading down South to South Carolina.
