NTSB rule out fire and a derailment at L’Enfant Plaza Metro Station

It could be a year before the National Transportation Safety Board its report on the cause of yesterday’s deadly smoke filled trains at L’Enfant Plaza Monday. Despite the ongoing investigation and the death of a passenger the metro station opened up on time this morning. Three passengers remain in critical condition another 80 had to be treated at area hospital for smoke inhalation.

Prince George’s Leaders celebrate a continued drop in violent crime

Violent crime was down 9% last year in Prince George’s County. It marks the fourth straight year of declines. At 10:30 this morning a special ceremony to recognize those involved in the effort will take place at the Community of Hope AME Church in Temple Hills.

French Officials continue to look for other accomplices in the Paris attacks

Police in France are looking for as many as six people they believe were apart of the planning of the newspaper shooting last week. Government officials say they had help in planning and carrying out the deadly attacks. The attacks at “Charlie Hebdo” claimed 17 lives.

The Wizards host the NBA Champs tonight

The Washington Wizards tip off tonight at 7 against the NBA Champs the Spurs. This follows the teams visit to the White House and a private meeting with President Obama on Monday.
