District 3 Police shooter is released from the hospital…

The alleged gunman who opened fire at police at the Palmer Park Police Station is out of the hospital. 29 year old Michael Ford is in police custody, he was denied bond yesterday like is two brothers earlier in the week. Next Friday a special memorial will be held at First Baptist Church of Glenarden for Officer Jacai Colson who died by friendly firing responding to the attack.

Police investigate a rape at a Elite private school in NW…

There’s an ongoing investigation in DC of an alleged raped at the Elite Sidwell Friends School in upper Northwest. The teen female victim says she was sexually assaulted by a male student on campus after hours on Wednesday. They two had a sexual relationship but they were no longer involved.

Metro GM warns he’s ready to fire anyone who’s not putting safety first…

We are learning this morning that metro GM Paul Wiedefeld was willing to step down if the transit agency did go along with his rail shutdown plan. Wiedefeld has also stated that he is prepare to fire any employee not willing to follow the new safety plan. At least 26 third rail cables had to be repaired.
