MD teen shot in front of his family at DC Metro Station is identified…

The teen shot at a DC metro station in front of his mother and two younger sisters has been identified as 15 year old Devonte Washington. His family says a man walked up to him at the Deanwood Metro Station, asked him a question and then shot him. Commander David Taylor says they believe he was the intended target and the shooting was not random. The family does not agree with that assumption. Grief counselors will be on hand at Largo H.S. when classes resume following the Easter break.

A new private ambulance coming has come to DC…

Help has arrived for DC’s struggling EMS department. As of 7 this morning AMR will now have 35 vehicles to handle non emergency 911 calls 18 hours a day. DC Fire & EMS will be called out first and they will determine if the call in critical, if not AMR will be called out. The pilot program is expected to run for a year.

Two more American’s are added to death toll in Brussels bombings…

The death toll from last weeks terrorist attacks in Brussels has grown to 35 — two American’s were added to the list. It was a husband and a wife from Kentucky who were dropping off her mother at the airport when the blast went off. A total of 4 American’s have been killed in the deadly attacks.
