Fire closes the IRS building in DC…

The IRS building is closed today as crews work to restore power following a transformer fire in the basement yesterday. No one was hurt. Its the first day of classes for students at Largo H.S. returning from Spring break. Officials say
grief counselors will be available for students needing help dealing with the murder of fellow classmate Devonte Washington.

Today’s the deadline for Md residents to register to vote in the April primary…

Maryland residents listen up! –tonight at 9 is the deadline to register for the April 26th Presidential Primary. It’s also the last day to change your party affiliation or address.

DC leaders hold an emergency meeting on adding Bernie Sanders name to primary ballot….

The DC City Council is set to hold an emergency vote today on whether or not to add Bernie Sanders to the June primary ballot. Sanders paperwork was submitted late missing the original cut off point. The Mayor would have to sign off on it to make it official.

It’s primary day in Wisconsin…

It is primary day in Wisconsin for both Democrats and Republicans. Early polls show Ted Cruz in the lead for the GOP –last night at a town hall meeting he said he just wants to focus on the issue and not what Trump has to say about him. Trump lashed out against Cruz with supporters at his rally in the state calling him lying Ted.
Bernie Sanders is leading Hillary Clinton in early polling.
