There’s been another fire reported on some metro tracks….

A small fire discovered on some tracks near Metro’s Stadium Armory location prompted officials to single track trains. The Blue, Orange and Silver lines between Cheverly & Stadium Armory are currently being affected.

The suspect who went on a two day shooting spree in MD is due in court…

The suspect police say shot his wife outside of High Point H.S. and 4 others a day later in Montgomery County is due to be arraigned today. 62 year old Eulalio Tordill is set to appear at 1 this afternoon. Montgomery Co. Police Assistant Chief Russ Hamill says Tordill admitted Friday’s shootings happen when he was trying to take the victims vehicle. Tordill faces first degree and attempted murder charges.

Forestville students can now request a school transfer…

Now that it’s official that Forestville H.S. will close at the end of the year –comes word that starting today students can request a transfer to another school. Those who do not request a transfer will go to Suitland H.S.. A parents meeting is set for tonight to inform them of what to expect and do next.

MD DMV officials reveals the states new secure drivers license…

At 1:30 in Annapolis, Maryland Transportation leaders will unveil a new and more secure driver license and ID card. The cards are completely redesigned with features to protect residents from fraud and identity theft.
