Metro leaders prepare for a historic meeting today….

Metro’s General Manager Paul Wiedefeld is planning to meet with all of Metro’s 650 managers today. It’s the first ever for the transit agency. The focus will be on changing safety and changing minds on what’s expected from each department. Today’s historic meeting follows Wiedefeld announcement of a major maintenance plan to deal with arcing issues and continued delays.

Md will soon be able to get birth control for males & females for free…

Maryland’s is about to become the first state to require insurance companies to pay for birth control for females and males. Gov. Larry Hogan is expected to sign off on the Contraceptive Equity Act today. The law would also make vasectomies free for men with insurance that want the surgery. The law will go in effect in January of 2018.

It’s Super Tuesday in two states today….

Today voters in West Virginia head to the polls for today’s primary for Democrats and Republicans. Hillary Clinton & Bernie Sanders will go head to head again. Bernie is favored to win. Nebraska is hold their GOP primary. Donald Trump is the only candidate left standing.
