Metro Officials took over a month to alert passengers to a rape on the red line…

A new story has metro users really questioning their safety while on the transit
system. The public is just learning of the April 12th alleged armed rape of a woman on the Red Line while the train made several stops. A suspect has been arrested. 36 year old John Hicks appeared in court yesterday. Montgomery County Prosecutor Ramon Korinoff says the victim was sleeping when she was attacked by Hicks. Metro Police at the glenmont station where he got off, were able to identify him
from surveillance images and since he was known by staff because he was accused of exposing himself to passengers before on the same line.

The FBI launches a probe into contributions made to Va.Gov. McAulif’s 2013 campaign…

Questionable donations made by a Chinese businessman and billionaire named Mr. Wang — has the FBI looking into Virginia Governor Terry McAuliff’s 2013 campaign. At hand is a total donation of $120,000. Foreigners can not make donations to U.S. campaigns. There is a report however that Mr. Wang has a green card which would allow him to make campaign contributions.

Top officials in the investigation of downed Egypt Air Flight 804 –say all signs point
to an explosion. Forensic investigators in Cairo say tests done on the body parts found show an explosion brought the plane carry 66 people & crew members down.
