DC Police investigate Five shootings in the city…

It was another violent night in the Nations Capitol. There were 4 shootings in S.E. and 1 in N.E. from last night into this morning. The victims are all expected to survive. No arrests have been made in any of the cases.

New surprising details about Orlando shooter surface…

The man identified as the shooter at the Orlando Night Club, Omar Marteen frequented the club, he also was registered on a gay dating app. Investigators say all of the 49 victims have been identified. On Friday, President Obama will head to Orlando to pay his respects and offer support to the victims families. DC joined NY, Pennsylvania and LA the held candle light vigils for the victims.

It’s Primary day in DC and a part of VA…

The polls in the District are now open for the last Democratic Primary for 2016. The polls will close at 8. The big race two watch is for the Ward 7 City Council between incumbent Yvette Alexandria and challenger former DC Mayor Vincent Gray. Also on the ballot are the Ward 4 & 8 city council seat. Voters in Arlington head to the polls today to choose who they want on the Arlington Co. board.
