From the RNC to the DNC…

Donald Trump has his sights set on the White House now that he is officially the Republican Presidential Nominee. Last night he wrapped up the RNC by vowing to make America rich again and to restore law and order. Meanwhile, we are awaiting word from Hillary Clinton regarding who her running mate will be. The announcement could come today or tomorrow. The Democratic National Convention begins next Monday in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I will have live coverage daily at 11:50 and nightly at 7 on the Daily Drum.

Police search for a carjacking suspect who shot & killed the driver…

Prince George’s County Police are offering a 25k reward for information about the suspect who shot a motorist at point blank range during a carjacking. It happened Wednesday morning at a gas station in Capitol Heights. 68 year old Alonzo Jackson died. Investigators are still looking for his black Dodge Charger with DC tags DF 0113.

The NBA is moving next year’s All Star game out of NC…

Leaders in the NBA are keeping their word they are moving the 2017 All Star Game out of Charlotte, North Carolina. The announcement follows state lawmakers who have failed to change the new transgender bathroom bill. The new location has not been selected.
