The Fed’s begins the process of shutting down head start in Prince George’s County…

The head start program in Prince George’s County is in jeopardy of being shutdown. Siting problems with how some teacher discipline children, the Federal Government has initiated the termination process. The county has 30 days to respond & make the needed changes to keep the critical program going.

Triple shooting in S.W. DC under investigation…

DC Police are looking for a cream color car that may be connected to this mornings triple shooting in S.W. near Nats stadium. The victims, two woman and a man suffered non life threatening injuries.

DC’s top cop is leaving, a replacement has not been named…

DC’s top cop Chief Cathy Lanier is retiring next month after more than two decades on the force. Lanier who admitted to becoming pregnant at 14 and only having a 9th grade education before joining the force says she’s thankful for everyone who believed in her. She obtained her GED and now has two master’s is headed to the NFL as it’s Senior VP of Security Operations. DC Mayor Bowser says she will name the interim police chief in the coming days.
