Metropolitan residents brace for up to 10 inches of snow today

A “Wind Chill Advisory” remains until 10 this morning. At 4 this afternoon, the entire WHUR listening area will be placed under a “Winter Weather Warning” until Tuesday morning. The immediate DC area could see up to 8 inches, up to 10 inches further south, like in Charles County or St. Mary’s County.

The head of Montgomery County School steps down today…

The search for a new Superintendent of public schools in Montgomery County steps into full gear today. Dr. Joshua Starr officially steps down today. District COO Larry Bowers will fill in on a temporary basis if approved by the state.

Md police shot & kill a teen connected to the shooting deaths of his entire family over computer privileges

Baltimore County Police have confirmed the 16 year old killed over the weekend following a high speed chase and shoot out was wanted in Kentucky for killing his entire family last week. Police say Jason Hendrix shot and killed his mother, father and younger sister, because his computer privileges were taken away.
